In the Shadow of the Beast

In 2009 the Author Dan Bates penned these words in the shadow of the Beast:

    Fred thought back to the culmination of trouble approximately
four years ago. Israel had ceded land for a Palestinian homeland
in a land-for-peace deal. It looked, for a while, like it would work
until the massive oil field at the southwest end of the Dead Sea
was found. Armies massed outside Israel and invaded. Israel was
against the wall and had to employ the Samson option. A nuclear
exchange occurred. Isaiah seventeen was fulfilled as Damascus was
a ruinous heap never to be a city again. Tel Aviv also was destroyed.
Half of Jerusalem was occupied. The world fully expected Israel to
be destroyed. There were ten days of awe during which the world
looked on as YHWH intervened. Fire fell, winds blew, the earth
quaked, floods rushed out of the ground, and Israel was saved.


On the last day of the battle, an earthquake hit Mount Moriah.
The Dome of the Rock, the Al-Aqsa mosque, and the Dome of
the Spirits were utterly destroyed. Outside the walls of the old city,
in the same place that had been a place of crucifixion in Roman
times, the Earth cracked open to reveal Jeremiah’s grotto. It was the
place that for 2,500 years the Ark of the Covenant had been waiting.
Scientists had analyzed the blood on the Ark. The blood on the
right side was almost human, except it had only one Y chromosome.
This was the blood of the Messiah.
